Satu entered world of textiles by accident, but after ending on this path, she found her inner creativity and passion for textile design. Satu is a cheerful, intuitive, and bold individual, and these traits are strongly reflected in her work and the textiles she creates.
In her free time, Satu enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Mauno. Nature is the greatest source of inspiration for Satu’s creativity, which is strongly shown in her work.
Satu graduated as a textile and interior artisan in 2015 and as an interior designer in 2016. Since then, she has created stunning and unique textiles that tell the story of her passion and creativity.

Traditional craftsmanship meets unprecedented modern design in Satu's textiles – a combination that makes each piece distinctive. She aim to create an experience that is more than just textile – a story of Finnish culture, passion, and craftsmanship.

Aino's design work is strongly material-driven and exploring new materials is a starting point for most of her design projects. She graduated from the Institute of Design in Lahti in 2013 and with an MA from the Department of Furniture Design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 2017. She works as a freelancer in the Veneentekijäntie 12 studio collective in Lauttasaari, Helsinki. During her studies in Copenhagen, she worked in designer Thomas Bentzen’s office, gaining expertise in various furniture, lighting, and industrial design projects. After returning to Finland, she worked as an in-house designer for the furniture company Interface in 2018-2020, designing new furniture for their collection.

Already in her studies, she participated in numerous exhibitions in Finland and abroad. In the summer of 2022, she debuted at the Salone Satellite exhibition of young designers at the Milan Furniture Fair with her solo show. In 2019 and 2022, she participated in Helsinki Design Week’s Fiskars Village Biennale exhibitions Social Seating and U-Joints: Knots & Knits, curated by designers Jasper Morrison, Andrea Caputo, and Anniina Koivu. Her work has been widely featured in international publications in our field, such as Wallpaper, Elle Decor Italia, AN Interior, and Stylepark. Her works are also regularly featured in Finnish publications of the design field, such as Asun, Glorian Koti, Avotakka, Deko, and Helsinki Design Weekly. In autumn 2018, the Bug armchair she designed for Interface was awarded as a favorite of the international press at the Habitare trade fair. In autumn 2020, Elle Decor Italia chose her for their list of 30 young emerging designers.

As a trained carpenter, Riku worked as a set carpenter in Helsinki city theatre in Finland. Riku completed his bachelor in furniture design at the Institute of Design
in Lahti. After graduating from Lahti Riku worked for some time in a field of furniture design and product development. Riku started his master studies at the Royal College of Art in London and finished his MA in product design 2019.
After studying at the RCA Riku became self-employed and from then worked mainly in the field of product and interior design. Riku’s goal is to meet everyday challenges with a pinch of humour, thereby making life a bit happier. Riku strives for functionality, aesthetics as well as durability and timelessness. Finnish culture as well as Riku’s background as a wood artisan can be seen in his design.

A Helsinki-based designer experienced in multiple fields, from product and spatial design to graphics and branding. Drawing from a background of industrial and product design (Institute of Design Lahti, Finland and ECAL, Switzerland), Ryhänen enjoys challenging commonalities, because that usually takes her work to curious outcomes.
The focus of Ryhänen’s work has recently been on objects between functionality and art. Exhibited at Milano Design Week 2024, her recent collection arises from the idea “form follows intuition”, exploring how intuition can show in industrially produced objects.

Ville was born in 1992 in Turku, Finland. Before going to design school he studied woodworking in Luksia, Nummela graduating in 2015. From early on in his studies he focused on designing pieces with industrial production in mind. As a natural continuation Ville went on to study design in the Institute of Design in Lahti, graduating in 2020.

Ville has been running his own studio since 2016 making custom furniture for private clients and designing a growing collection of furniture. Lately he has been focusing on designing products for furniture brands. In the daytime you can usually find Ville in his studio in the quaint island of Lauttasaari, Helsinki. And when not in the studio testing new ideas and making prototypes he loves to play the piano and guitar or go for a run next to the sea.
