Our story
In a family business, the most important thing is reliability. For us, customer relationships and effective service are a matter of honor. We deliver what we promise and as efficiently as possible. We genuinely want to meet the customer's needs and solve any problems in the best possible way. We serve each customer personally and are responsible for projects from start to finish. This means that we are involved in the project from needs assessment and product design to the possible final installation of the furniture. For us, the customer is not a company, for us, the customer is always a person with individual needs.
Tuula-Marja Normia
CEO & Founder
Everything that our company represents today began 40 years ago when I founded an art gallery. With the gallery, we expanded our operations to include international art supplies and table and glassware imports. From art scene, i moved on to develop the Finnish hotel industry, where I worked as a sales and marketing director and management advisor. I have also worked as a hotel manager for several years. As an independent consultant for private hotel chains and financial institutions, i was responsible of the start-up, development and profitability of tourism businesses. Over forty years of experience in the fields of design, tourism and business consulting have given me a lot of understanding of how to serve customers and what is the secret to long-term business operations. A family business gives me the strength to continue and plan operations far into the future. Good design is timeless and lasts across generations.

COO & Co-Founder
"My interest in seafaring and ships stems from my great-grandfather, who was one of the most important shipowners in the Nordic countries. So it is natural for me to work with international shipping companies and develop unforgettable experiences for their customers through our products."

I have been interested in aesthetic matters, design, art and architecture since I was a young boy. I certainly owe this to my family, because I have always been surrounded by design and art, as well as an attitude that values culture. Before joining our family business, I worked in business development in the technology sector, from where I became an entrepreneur responsible for the development and recruitment of personnel for technology companies. Among other things, I did international talent acquisition in many different countries and built corporate cultures and related operating environments for clients. But i have to say that i feel at home in my current job. I get to combine business development, international trade and the design sector into one functioning entity. In a competitive industry and a constantly changing world, business is not always easy, but fortunately, strong support and a clear vision for the future help to move the business forward. It should also be mentioned that without our incredibly skilled partners and designers, our operations would not be possible. Future classics need passion and exceptional design skills to be born.
